Common Questions
Can you batter fry in an air fryer?
Can you cook battered food in an air fryer? The simple answer is no! An air fryer cooks using hot air, and it cannot firm the wet batter as quickly as an oil fryer. Your batter will have a peculiar gloopy texture, which is undesirable!
Why are my puris not crispy?
Fry them at a low temperature of the oil to avoid making the puri soggy with oil. High-heat frying will brown the exterior quickly, but the interior dough will be undercooked and mushy.
Is an air fryer suitable for Indian food?
The air fryer is great for a number of healthy Indian cuisine and can help you reduce your reliance on deep frying. Get Indian vegetarian air fryer recipes, the greatest Indian air fryer snacks, and more! You may enjoy all of your favorite Indian meals without using any oil by using an air fryer.
Which oil is best for poori?
Vegetable oil: A small amount is required to prepare the dough, but more is required for deep frying. Deep-frying dishes like pooris require a flavorless oil with a high smoke point, such as peanut oil, sunflower oil, safflower oil, avocado oil, or canola oil.
