In a dish that can be microwaved, put about 2 cups of frozen broccoli (or a 10 to 12-ounce bag). Fill the dish’s bottom with water to a depth of approximately an inch. Cook for 8 to 10 minutes on HIGH power in the microwave under a glass top. 10 minutes for more tender broccoli, 8 minutes for sharper broccoli.
I only add butter and a touch of salt once the broccoli has finished cooking. Before serving, I stirred everything together after allowing the butter to melt.

- Microwave the sprouts for 8 to 10 minutes for a crunchy texture.
- Add a few pinches of salt and a few pats of butter to add flavor.
- Combine it, then serve it with supper.
Flavoring Frozen Broccoli Florets
There are so many ways to spice this delectable meal! Here are some suggestions:
- If you are a vegan or on a Keto diet, season it with Italian seasoning, Taco seasoning, or Cajun seasoning.
- Pour in some butter. When in doubt, put some butter on it. With the addition of butter, the recipe will no longer be vegan, but it will remain Keto.
- Have you considered frozen broccoli and cheese? After adding butter to the broccoli, sprinkle it with shredded cheese!

Crisp or Tender Broccoli?
We prefer our broccoli softer when it’s served as a side dish, so I cook it for longer. In our microwave, I discovered that 10 minutes produces the ideal soft broccoli (which is 1500 watts).
