Mediterranean Goat Cheese Pizza Recipe

In a large mixing bowl, combine the sugar and water. Place the yeast on top of the water and let it sit for 5 minutes without touching it. Stir together olive oil and table salt, and warm it up while stirring with a fork. Gradually add 2 cups of flour and stir with a fork until the flour has completely dissolved and the mixture becomes sticky.

Knead the dough with 1 more cup of flour and then incorporate it. Transfer the dough to a floured work surface along with the remaining ingredients. Knead the dough for 5 to 7 minutes, or until the flour has been completely incorporated and the dough is smooth and supple. Form the dough into a ball and cover it with plastic wrap. Let it sit for 90 minutes at room temperature. Divide the dough into 4 balls.

  • As the rack is in the top position, preheat the oven to 450°F.
  • Roll out a ball of dough into a circle of 40 cm in diameter.
  • Add tomato slices, olives, anchovies, pepper strips, oregano, and garlic slices to the salad.
  • Garnish with goat cheese and mozzarella.
  • Baking time: 20 minutes.
