Making Microwave Chocolate Chip Cookie Bars

They’re soft, chewy, and flavorful chocolate chips in every bite. The best thing is that you don’t need an oven or any baking skills to prepare these!

The perfect cookie has proven difficult to Microwave. I’m sharing with you today a quick and tasty recipe for microwave chocolate chip cookie bars. 

Contrary to popular belief, I have been working on trying to make chocolate chip cookies in the Microwave that aren’t just mug cakes. They always made a sticky mess when I first tried a bar version.

What ingredients do you need to make microwave chocolate chip cookie bars?

How do you make microwave chocolate chip cookie bars?

If you’re using chilled cookie dough, take it out of the fridge just before you’re ready to microwave it. Spray the baking dish with non-stick olive oil spray after creating your favorite cookie dough, and chill it for at least an hour.

Cookie dough should be pressed into the pan’s bottom. I added enough to cover the bottom and halfway up the edges of the pan. Heat for 6-7 minutes on HIGH. The cookie will begin to puff up and rise.

Make sure the cookie dough appears finished on the top by inspecting it. 

Continue cooking for 2 minutes at a time, looking after each one to see whether it still resembles moist raw dough.

Remove the cookie dough from the Microwave when it appears to have been cooked and let it cool for a few minutes. To get around the edges, use a spatula or a knife that is sharp. Remove the cookie from the pan after cutting it into squares. As soon as it’s still warm, consume.
