- 1-2 tablespoons olive oil, or as needed
- 1-2 onions, finely minced
- 1 pound of ground beef
- 2 (15 ounce) cans of pizza sauce
- 10 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese, or more if desired
- 4 ounces shredded Cheddar cheese or more to taste
Heat olive oil and saute onion in a skillet over medium heat until soft and translucent, about 4 to 6 minutes.
Cook and stir beef in a large pot over medium heat until browned and crumbly, 5 to 7 minutes; drain and discard grease.
In the same pot, combine beef, onion, and pizza sauce. Stir in mozzarella cheese and cheddar cheese one handful at a time, stirring until cheeses are melted before adding the next handful. Ladle fondue into bowls.
