Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup pepperoni slices 
  • 1/2 cup cooked ground sausage 
  • 1/2 cup pizza sauce, plus more for dipping 
  • 1/4 cup chopped banana peppers 
  • Two cups of grated mozzarella (from a block, not pre-shredded) 
  • One 28-ounce bag of frozen shoestring fries
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan

Directions

1. Preheat the oven to 400°F and place a medium cast-iron pan.

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Bake the fries in the hot cast-iron pan, stirring once or twice throughout the cooking, until crisp, about 20 minutes.

   

3. Remove from the oven and top the fries with pepperoni, sausage, sauce, peppers, mozzarella, and Parmesan. 

You may also build a mound of pizza fries by layering fries and toppings. 

Return the pan to the oven for 5–10 minutes to allow the cheese to melt. Serve immediately with a dipping sauce of your choice.
