Wingstop’s cajun fried corn is one of the restaurant’s most popular sides. This copycat recipe is very quick and simple to make, and it tastes exactly like the one from Wingstop!
They’re just a corn cob cut into four sections.
The small cobs are then cooked and seasoned with cajun seasoning. With spicy, buttery tastes and a bit of earthiness, they are ideal Southern-style nibbles.
You may obtain this southern-style snack with Wingstop’s unique fried seasoning in addition to Cajun seasoning. Parmesan and lemon pepper seasonings are also available to sprinkle on top of the corn.

Wingstop Cajun Fried Corn Review
The Cajun wasn’t as heavily saturated in sauce, which I enjoyed because it wasn’t as dependent on it.
Each order consists of one cob of corn chopped into four pieces, each seasoned with its cajun flavor and fried. It’s hot, filling, and salty. It also feels healthful, as if your brain is still thinking, “Oh, this is a vegetable.”
The Cajun fried corn, in my opinion, was a letdown. It cost around $3 for five little pieces of corn that were mushier than anything else. I was looking for a wonderful toasted texture from them.
But if you like your corn spicey, you may want to give it a try.

Is it possible to cook corn on the cob in an air fryer?
The air fryer can be used to make roasted corn, which is very tasty.
First and foremost, you’ll need an air fryer. For this recipe, you may use a rack-style air fryer, but I prefer a basket-style air fryer.
Place the cob in the air fryer basket and cook for 5-8 minutes at 400oF (204oC). Make sure you can hear when the popcorn starts popping and that you switch off the machine once all of the popcorn has popped.
Fill a bowl halfway with popped popcorn on the cob. Drizzle with salt and spicy sauce (or melted butter) and serve. If you want a more detailed step-by-step guide, check Air Fryer Corn Ribs Recipe.
Why does the air fryer method of cooking corn work so well?
You might be wondering how they operate; an air fryer works effectively because it circulates scorching hair around your meal while using very little oil. Having an air fryer on your counter means you have a little convection oven. Food does not taste deep-fried, but it does taste delicious.
When you air-fried corn, it not only cooks it like boiling or microwaving but also roasts it simultaneously. The outcome is a delightful side dish in which the corn roasts and browns slightly. The taste of these caramelized corn kernels varies greatly.
The roasted corn kernels are the ideal canvas for various additives such as fresh herbs or seasonings such as garlic powder or red chili powder.

Corn is rich in vitamin C, an antioxidant that helps protect your cells from harm and fend off illnesses like cancer and heart disease. Yellow maize is an excellent source of the carotenoids lutein and zeaxanthin, which are good for eye health and help prevent the lens damage that leads to cataracts.
However, corn is one of the most fattening foods due to its high sugar and calorie content. Corn contains sugar like fructose, which adds significantly to visceral fat.
